I'm currently a senior at Iowa State University in the Greenlee School of Journalism. Please see my work showcasing what I've done in class or in my internships.

In the fall of 2023, I was given the opportunity to work with the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference, the ICCAC. The ICCAC is the conference under which all of Iowa's Region 11 community college athletics fall.

As an assistant at the ICCAC, I was learning hands-on skills every day to help me in my future career path of athletics.

I am creating digital content and my first athletics writing content. Learning how to utilize statistics in the writing process has been my favorite part of the writing process.
In 2023, I spent my summer as a communications intern at ChildServe in Johnston, Iowa. I've been able to have hands-on experience interviewing, writing children's stories, writing staff and family emails, taking photos and overall being embraced by the brand of ChildServe.
My work at ChildServe is very on the go. My work is drafted, sent for proofing, edited and sent back for final revisions. I've learned that working quickly and precisely is the best way to write.
While being able to have a hands-on experience as an intern, I've been able to feel much more comfortable in a professional writing setting.
In the spring of 2023, I took public relations writing with Professor Beth Haag.
Our semester long project was becoming "student ambassadors" for the Iowa State Creamery.
The Iowa State Creamery didn't actively have anyone in a PR role for their brand.
This class pushed my strengths, helped me find my writing style and I learned something new every day.
